Besides the fact that the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic has already found an actor for the main role, it seems like the part of Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak just got filled, and by no other than Seth Rogen.

According to the Variety report, Rogen has bagged the role of Steve Wozniak, one of Jobs’ closest allies and co-founder of Apple who played a key role in the development of some of the company’s most ground-breaking technology.

Said technology will form the focal point of the film, with each of its three, thirty-minute acts set just before the launch of the Mac, the NeXT and the iPod.

Rogen is certainly an interesting casting choice, but with how little is known about this movie, it’s hard to really gauge what it means.

For one, it’s not clear how large the role of Wozniak will be: the film is supposed to take place in the moments preceding three major Apple product launches, and Wozniak wouldn’t necessarily be around for all of those, having left Apple in 1985.

Meanwhile, The Wrap claims that Jessica Chastain is also on Boyle’s hit-list, with the director keen to sign her up as soon as possible. No details as yet regarding who she might be playing.

The film has yet to receive an official release date, with shooting expected to begin in early 2015.
