Whether you liked the movie or not, you can’t deny that the book-to-film adaptation called “Twilight” was a huge hit. Sure, many of us had some hate to throw at the film series, but nonetheless it made some serious cash on a global level.

And the series biggest star, Kristen Stewart, certainly feels like she did the right thing by joining the franchise.

In fact, she feels so comfortable with her career choices that she has nothing but praise for the vampire chick-flick.

While talking to Patti Smith for Interview Magazine, the star of “Snow White and the Huntsman” came across her old character of Bella Swan from the “Twilight Saga.”

And Kristen had something to say regarding the movies: “I mean, it was a long process, so it’s hard to generalize about it as a whole. It wasn’t entirely cohesive. We ebbed and flowed. I will definitely acknowledge that.”

But once the steamroller started moving, there was no stopping it: “But the intention is so f****** pure in a weird way. Anybody who wants to talk s*** about Twilight, I completely get it, but there’s something there that I’m endlessly, and to this day, f****** proud of. My memory of it felt—still feels—really good.

Okay, we get it, sheesh – the 25-year-old actress is proud of her engagement in the “Twilight” franchise. Sure, she could have added more facial expressions or emotions to her character, but we wouldn’t want to poke the bear with that.

Instead, let’s focus on the present. Young Kristen had quite a few shots at real stardom in the past years, with most recent being the role in “Still Alice” along with Julianne Moore, who played the titular character.

Thanks to this movie, Moore was in the run for Best Actress at the Oscars this Sunday, and as for Stewart, you can bet that this made her look like she can be more than an expressionless teenage girl from “Twilight.”
