Aside from Batman, Superman, and the Suicide Squad with The Joker at its helm, there is one other DC Universe movie we can’t wait to see – “Wonder Woman.”

However, we weren’t presented with as much information about the Amazon heroine flick as the case was with “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.” It’s been confirmed that Gal Gadot is set to take the titular role and that’s about it.

But now Variety reports that another A-list actor is in talks to join the cast of “Wonder Woman.” As the reports suggest, Chris Pine is currently making a deal with Warner Bros. about his involvement in the said movie.

The rumors say that Pine is going to star as Steve Trevor, who survives a near-fatal plane crash on Paradise Island thanks to Diana, a.k.a. Wonder Woman. Steve is her love interest throughout the comics, but we’ll see how the story develops in the upcoming movie.

Initially, it was rumored that Clint Eastwood’s son Scott Eastwood would be taking up the role of Steve Trevor, but since we now know he’s starring in the “Suicide Squad,” it’s more likely for the Chris Pine rumor to become reality.

All in all, we’ll have to wait and see. Gal Gadot will make her debut as Wonder Woman in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” on March 26, 2016, while her solo movie is set for a June 23, 2017 release date.
