The trailer for the new hit anime movie “Ghost in the Shell” is out and the fans are going crazy, some due to excitement, others due to anger.

Haven’t watched the original ‘Ghost In The Shell’ yet? Watch it now!

The popular manga story was written and illustrated by Masamune Shirow, and now the live action movie is being made by Mamoru Oshii. The main star of the project is Scarlett Johansson, who starred in somewhat similar projects like “Captain America”, “Avengers”, and “Lucy”.

However, true anime fans are going berserk as they don’t think Scarlett is the right person to portray the legendary Major character.

They are also angry because the trailer revealed certain things that are not in sync with the original, and now suspicions and speculations are flooding the online world.

“Ghost in the Shell” fans are certain the movie is going to be another Hollywood failure, much like other similar live action adaptations such as “Dragon Balls” and “Avatar: The Last Airbender”.

The Trailer Looks Amazing Though

But let’s focus on the good stuff a little bit. “Ghost in the Shell” trailer is out and it looks mind-blowing.

The CGI and graphics are definitely top-shelf, and the background and environment are on point – just the things that caused the hair on our arms to go up while watching the teaser.

The robots and cyborg design is also mesmerizing, which contributes to the amazing sci-fi atmosphere we were all hoping for. The intricate details on the creatures are spot on and this is what makes us optimistic about the upcoming “Ghost in the Shell” project.

Hopefully, they won’t mess up the storyline. The movie is scheduled for a 2017 release.
