Ryan-Reynolds-Sealed-Deadpool

Since there was actually no official report or confirmation that Ryan Reynolds will reprise the famous role when 20th Century Fox revealed the “Deadpool” film was actually happening, the fans were kind of in a state of limbo. But now, the limbo can stop for the actor himself announced the news.

Chimichanga Time

Ryan turned to Twitter to officially declare the good news where he posted an improvised photo of Deadpool with a not-so-cryptic message.

“It’s Chimichanga time.”

Details

When Reynolds first appeared as Deadpool, (aka Wade Wilson), he was somewhat of a smart-mouthed mercenary suffering from terminal cancer who undergoes military experiments in an attempt to replicate Wolverine’s mutant healing factor.

Ultimately, he ends up with the ability to heal quickly for the price of being indestructible and severely scarred. Deadpool’s swift mind and witty attitude earns him the nickname “The Merc with a Mouth.”

“Zombieland” writers, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, have penned the story. The duo has recently stated that they intend to ‘honor the character’s wisecracking, meta nature.’ The Deadpool test footage that leaked online a few months back definitely shows that Reese and Wernick are being consistent with what they have promised.

The spin-off will be directed by VFX expert, Tim Miller, and should start shooting in March.
