Every once in a while an actor comes along that sets the hearts of young women everywhere ablaze.

Matt Bomer has been acting professionally since 2001, but it wasn’t until the role of Neal Caffrey in White Collar came along that his star began to truly take off.

Always sharply dressed and possessing a dazzling smile, Bomer made the hearts of women everywhere skip a beat playing the lead role on the television series.

As if his role in White Collar wasn’t enough to get women excited, playing the role of Ken in the 2012 film Magic Mike sure did the trick.

Starring alongside Channing Tatum in the male stripper-themed film, Bomer drew the attention of even more women. As excited as all these women had become over Bomer, it was a crushing blow to their dreams when it was revealed in 2012 that he was gay.

Bomer has been legally married to his long-time partner Simon Halls since 2011. The couple has three sons together, including twins, who were born through surrogacy. Bomer publicly acknowledged his sexuality during an acceptance speech for the Steve Chase Humanitarian Award in 2012.

During that speech he thanked Halls and their children for their support.
