3. Gary Oldman – Tiptoes

Who in their right mind would cast a person of non-diminutive stature to play a little person? Isn’t that, like, the whole point of the movie?

Understanding little people, promoting tolerance and showing that it’s okay to be different is everything Tiptoes is about, but the casting director just kind of ignored the whole thing and gave the job to Gary Oldman.

Don’t get us wrong, Oldman did an amazing job, but it’s pretty weird having an actor of “standard” height playing a little person when there are so many actors of diminutive stature just waiting for the perfect role.

But, hey, they could have gotten one of the thousand other roles in the same movie since the cast contains almost every famous little person actor, including Peter Dinklage, who were more than capable of taking on the lead.
