11 Movies You Should Never Watch With Your Parents

Oldboy

2. “Oldboy” (2003) Or “Oldboy” (2013)

It doesn’t really make much difference if you watch the legendary Korean original from 2003, or give a chance to new Spike Lee’s remake from last year, this story is definitely the opposite of what we would call family entertainment.

The original film follows the story of one Oh Dae-su, who is locked in a hotel room for 15 years without knowing his captor’s motives.

When he is finally released, Dae-su finds himself still trapped in a web of conspiracy and violence.

His own quest for vengeance becomes tied in with romance when he falls for an attractive sushi chef.

Revenge at its best – Masterpiece Oldboy is Waiting for You

Suffice it to say that parents and children have no business seeing this together. The hyperviolence or the overall tactile grossness of both films are nothing in comparison to the profound sexual perversion this vengeance story portrays.

Definitely a must-see. On your own, of course.
