3. The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles

This show managed to do what not many TV spin-offs did, although it never snatched a worldwide audience.

The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles is a series that was based on the third installment of the Indiana Jones big-screen franchise, and it ran from 1992 to 1993.

Many people believe that the inspiration behind the show was the flashback of young Jones in Indiana Jones And The last Crusade, a movie-apology from George Lucas himself (due to the major fail that is known as the second installment of the movie franchise).

During its short small-screen life, the series featured a lot of historical noted figures which granted it its famed educational atmosphere. Although younger generations loved it, older viewers didn’t quite get the feel of the series and it soon got canceled.
