New Characters To Appear In Avengers 3

New-Characters-To-Appear-In-Avengers-3

“Avengers: Age of Ultron” may still be seven months away, but that isn’t stopping Marvel Cinematic Universe rumors about the distant future from flooding our desks on a daily basis.

Despite very few people knowing how Joss Whedon’s ensemble sequel will end, many publications claim to have the inside scoop on Marvel’s plans for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in the coming years.

The latest rumor is that Marvel might not include Captain America, Thor and possibly Black Widow in “Avengers 3.”

There’s no word on Iron Man or Hulk, but since Robert Downey Jr. is signed on for a third “Avengers” film, he could be the character that brings the new team together.

There are plenty of possible choices who have already been introduced, and there are others who may be at the center of their own Marvel movie very soon. Here are the heroes who should comprise the second generation “Avengers.”

Doctor Strange

If there’s one thing the “Avengers” are missing, it’s magic. Oh sure, Thor can call down lightning and has a hammer that only he can lift, but the team could use a little “sorcerous” flair. That is what the Master of the Mystic Arts brings to the table. Audiences will already be well-acquainted with Doctor Strange after his solo film in 2016, so there’s no need to go into detail about how his powers work.

Black Panther

Although it’s been rumored that Wakanda will appear in “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” Marvel’s plans for its leader, T’Challa (Black Panther), are less clear. The fans have been begging to see him on the big screen, and multiple actors have expressed interest in the role. “Avengers 3” would be the perfect introduction to the Black Panther.

Captain Marvel

The fans have been begging for her, so why not include her in the lineup? Marvel execs have reiterated that they are interested in bringing Carol Danvers into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but currently there are no confirmed plans for a cinematic appearance. If they don’t want to give her a solo film, then the next best option is to put her on the team.

The Vision

The upgraded JARVIS will presumably help the “Avengers fight Ultron” in next summer’s blockbuster, but he’s useful for more than just rebelling against his robot creator. Vision has a range of diverse powers, from mass and density control to flying to super strength. He’s no pushover. Also, putting Vision on the “Avengers” will allow him to learn more about humanity.
