Enough with the sequels, prequels, remakes, and reboots! The audience has come to a stage where it’s tired of seeing the same stuff over and over again, and wants something new and original.

In that name, we shift our focus towards the “Assassin’s Creed” movie, which is about to welcome Marion Cotillard to its cast.

As Deadline reports, the video-game adaptation “Assassin’s Creed” just made an awesome casting decision. Marion Cotillard, an Oscar-winning actress, is about to join the project as the main female presence in the story.

So far, we know that Michael Fassbender will be the protagonist of the movie.

The actor certainly attracted a lot of attention to the project, aside from all the fans of the video-game. As for Cotillard, it’s unclear what her role in the movie will be, but it’s obvious we’ll be seeing more of her in the sequel if the first film is successful.

In any case, we can’t wait to see what will New Regency and Ubisoft create. Even if you’re not a fan of video-games, we’re sure you’ll love “Assassin’s Creed,” as it is full of history, conspiracies, time-travel, Templars, and, of course, assassins.
