Well, this was unexpected, and if anything guarantees a good comedy then that is definitely the moment of surprise. Famed rapper/actor Ice Cube and actor/comedian Charlie Day involved in a fist fight is just the thing no one saw coming. Reportedly, the unlikely pair is in talks to star in a bluntly and pretty obviously named movie called Fist Fight. We guess the creativeness dried out with the script.

Allegedly, the Horrible Bosses’s actor and the NWA member are negotiating with New Line for the upcoming comedy.

The story follows a mild-mannered English teacher (Day) who is faced with manning-up when his colleague (Ice Cube) challenges him to a fist fight because he thinks Day is trying to get him fired.

The English teacher has two options: to get out of the whole thing or to get really great really fast in street fighting.

Fist Fight’s script was penned down by Van Robichaux and Evan Susser. No director has been attached to the project just yet.

In the meantime, Charlie Day has Vacation coming out in a couple of months, approximately in the same time Ice Cube’s Straight Outta Compton is set to premiere. Cube’s Ride Along 2 will see the light of day in January next year.
