Hollywood filmmaking has changed over the decades, as production houses are nowadays dishing out more remakes and sequels than actually original ideas. And as we got used to that, any news about a whole new project exhilarates us more than a snow day excites a 12-year-old.

According to The Wrap, there is a new cannibalistic love story movie in the making. Apart from being a movie about cannibals, or the fact that it’s a completely new idea, there is one other thing that makes this movie worth paying attention to its cast.

Rumors have it that the movie currently titled as “The Bad Batch” will have not one, not two, not even three, but four Hollywood stars in its cast.

These include funnyman Jim Carrey, “The Matrix” star Keanu Reeves, everyone’s favorite ‘tall, dark, and handsome’ Jason Momoa, and the mellow-voiced Diego Luna.

The project is set to be directed by Ana Lily Amirpour, who’s responsible for the romantic thriller “A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night.”

For now, the roles these big screen superstars will be playing is something of a mystery. The Maori actor Jason Momoa will most likely be playing the part of Miami Man, a cannibal who’s in love with his food, while we only know Carrey’s character’s name is The Hermit, Reeves will be The Dream, and Luna will be Jimmy.

Aside from these four big-time names, “Insurgent’s” Suki Waterhouse is also set to join “The Bad Batch.” Bottom line, this movie has the plot and the cast that’s sure to shake our worlds even by a little bit, so we’ll be watching out for this one.
